Accelerated Rehabilitation Program. This program is to respond to clients needs by providing appropriate and timely rehab services for the individuals with musculoskeletal injuries such as knee, shoulder, back, neck, ankle and hand. This program will allow the client to recover from the injury/surgery as quickly as possible while minimizing complications from surgery/disability.

Early Intervention Program. This is a six to twelve visit program for the client who has been recently diagnosed with a progressive neuromuscular or joint disease. Early rehab intervention can help individuals prolong their ability to live independently while minimizing the onset of permanent disability.

Feldenkrais® Method Movement behavior modificationFeldenkrais® Method. Movement behavior modification is an exercise program for the detection and systematic correction of faulty postural habits and movement patterns that create pain and disability. Specially designed movement sequences help promote ease of motion during functional activities such as rising from a chair, walking, running, turning, and bending. This program is based on the two processes of the Feldenkrais® Method. Awareness through Movement® and Functional Integration sequences accelerate rehab time for clients with neurological and orthopedic conditions such as strokes, TBI, MS, nerve injuries, Parkinson's and related disorders (please refer to attachment).

Fibrowise Program.
This is a four to twelve week innovative rehab program designed for individuals diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (please refer to attachment).

Functional Capacity Evaluation Program

Individualized Aquatic Program combines buoyancy, heat, and resistance.Individualized Aquatic Program- Featuring the Aqua Ark. The Aqua ark combines buoyancy, heat, and resistance with safety and security in a special deep water suspension pool that allows the individual to exercise in an upright position for a total body workout. A client is lifted in and out of the water via a lift and is supervised at all times. The water height is adjusted from 3 feet to 8 feet (please refer to blog on aqua therapy).

Pilates MachinePilates. Pilates was known in its early stages as "Contrology" was developed by Joseph Pilates. People, from bedridden, to injured dancers, to orthopedic doctors and movie stars all supported this revolutionary and powerful work. It is a mind-body movement program that connects with the deeper, often missed muscles, that allows the body to move more efficiently and allows the spine and other joints to become aligned in a more proper alignment, easing pain and tension the body is aware or unaware it is carrying.

Craniosacral Therapy.
Non-invasive, hands-on therapy using gentle touch to manipulate the joints in the skull, pelvis and spinal column to provide natural healing. Craniosacral therapy releases tensions deep in the body helping to self-correct, promote relaxation and bring pain relief. Correcting the imbalances in the body aids in improving overall health and well-being. Often used to treat migraine headaches, chronic neck and back pain, fatigue, stress, fibromylagia and scoliosis.

LSVT Parkinson's Treatment.
LSVT BIG is a an intensive, amplitude focused physical and occupational therapy approach developed from principles of the effective Parkinson's specific speech treatment LSVT LOUD .

The LS\/T Programs have been developed and scientifically researched over the past 25 years with funding from the National Institutes of Health.

Research on LSVT BIG has documented improved ratings on tests of motor functioning in people with Parkinson disease following treatment including:

  • Faster walking with bigger steps
  • Improved balance
  • Increased trunk rotation
  • Improvements in activities of daily living such as bed mobilit'y
  • Improved UPDRS Motor Score

LSVT BIG is a standardized treatment protocol, which is customized to the unique goals of each patient including both gross and fine motor skills. LSVT BIG can be adapted or progressed in order to meet each patient’s needs across a range of disease severity and presenting impairments.

LSVT BIG treatment consists of:

  1. 16 sessions: 4 consecutive days a week for 4 weeks
  2. Individual 1 hour sessions
  3. Daily homework practice
  4. Daily carryover exercises

It is essential that LSVT BIG treatment is only delivered by physical or occupational therapists who are certified in this method.

LSVT BIG is being delivered by over 10,000 certified LSVT clinicians in 38 countries.
